First, Republicans rammed through Trump's budget bill, a massive law that hands billionaires and big corporations $1 trillion in tax giveaways—while slashing health and nutrition programs and ripping away health coverage from 17 million Americans.1
Then, just a few days later, Republicans rammed through their "Rescissions Act," which claws back $9 billion in already-appropriated funds—nearly $8 billion in foreign aid and $1.1 billion for public radio and television.2
Now, we must make sure that Republicans lose control of the House of Representatives in 2026.
That's why MoveOn is launching our "Won't Back Down" tour. We're heading into the belly of the beast—straight toward the cities and districts where vulnerable Republicans lied to their constituents and took away their health care. And we're holding events with thousands of their constituents to expose their cruel records and ensure they're voted out of office.

We're kicking off our tour in Phoenix, Arizona, alongside firebrand Senator Chris Murphy, leading progressive Representative Jasmine Crockett, and climate champion Representative Yassamin Ansari, rallying against Representatives David Schweikert and Juan Ciscomani—two of the most vulnerable Republicans in Congress—who just voted to hand billionaires a huge tax cut, paid for by the working class.
Then, we're headed to Omaha, Nebraska, where Republican Representative Don Bacon is retiring from his swing district—which Kamala Harris won in 2024—because he's too afraid to face his constituents, giving Democrats a golden opportunity to pick up a critical House seat. We'll be joined by powerhouse Senator Elizabeth Warren and rising star Representative Maxwell Frost.
And we're partnering with MeidasTouch—the fastest-growing independent and wildly popular media network—to broadcast our events far and wide to reach audiences on YouTube and digital platforms that have tuned out traditional media.
And—if we're able to fund it—we'll hit other key congressional districts across the country after that.
