On July 4, President Trump signed into law his "big ugly bill" that will rip health care away from millions of people. And with the most painful cuts to our health care system and other vital safety net programs set to roll out incrementally over the next few years, Trump and Republicans are hoping that means there will be no loud opposition to this cruel and inhumane law.1
That's why it is critical that we take action from coast to coast to let Trump and Republicans know that we won't accept these cuts to our health care and livelihoods.
And hosts across the country are working with intention to ensure that their events will be family friendly, creative, and fun. Whether a "Power to the Playdate" event in Florida to draw attention to cuts to Medicaid or a community canned food drive in Phoenix to bring attention to cuts to SNAP benefits, no rally will be the same. But they will all be welcoming, and we hope you can join us.

On July 4, President Trump signed into law his "big ugly bill" that will rip health care away from 17 million people—including kids, seniors, and people with disabilities—in order to give massive tax cuts to the ultra wealthy and giant corporations.2
Now, it's up to us to send a loud and resounding message to Republicans and the Trump administration that we, the people, are not OK with them trading away our health care and vital parts of our safety net to line the pockets of billionaires and corporations.
