These were key instigators in the January 6 attack on our Capitol, and now they want $100 million from American taxpayers—despite being convicted by a jury of their peers. While Trump and congressional Republicans slash our federal budget to strip funding from Medicaid and food stamps, we won't sit back and allow our government to pay $100 million to a violent hate group attacking our democracy. We know that the Trump administration is cozying up to insurrectionists.
